  • Make sure your unit is in tip top shape. A/C and Heat Pump systems should be maintenanced at least once a your to prevent voiding the manufacture warranty. A professional cleaning will help keep your A/C or Heat Pump system running efficiently.

  • As of January 1, 2020, the production and import of R22 refrigerant will be illegal in the United States and continued use of an air conditioner (AC) or heat pump system using R22 refrigerant is allowed. Read more about R22 at: EPA.gov

POSSIBLE INDICATIONS TO UPGRADE:

Age of unit: It will only perform efficiently and effectively for so long. Consider replacing your air conditioner or heat pump if the unit is older than 10 years.
Unit needs regular repairs: If need of repairs become to frequent then it may be time to consider a new system.
Unit is unable to maintain comfort needs: It might be under sized for your home - especially if you have recently added an addition. Poor performance could also be due to leaks or weaknesses in your duct work.
